For all who want to participate the tables will be numbered, and starting at 9:00 couples and singles will draw a number out of the box. You will then go to sit at the table you have drawn for 15 minutes. Then you will draw another number and move to a new table, getting to meet and talk to prospective new friends. "Trading spaces" will last two hours from 9:00 till 11:00, then sit anywhere you like.
Time:
8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Amenities:
1. Free snack bar (donated by Florida Swing Party)
2. Cash bar, (reasonable drinks) must have cash. ATM available but who knows when an ATM quits working :)
3. Huge wooden dance floor
4. Room for hundreds of people
5. Light show and live DJ, (music at a level that you can still talk and make new friends).
6. Games, drawings, prizes, Give-a-ways, (a new Eager Beaver also needs a home :)
Cost:
No Membership Fees, (must sign our privacy agreement at the door, online, or already be a member).
$25.00 per couple
$40.00 per single male

Hotel:
There is a nice hotel just down the street only about 1 minute away! Rate is $119.99 plus tax because we're in season and lots of visitors coming to town. We've booked our new venue for a year ahead and the hotel promises to give us good rates starting in April. Two couples renting rooms together would be a lot cheaper.
Dress:
We hope you will "Dress To Impress!" You won't be popular if you are shabby and unkempt. Florida Swing Party reserves the right to deny entrance to anyone for any reason.
Dress as sexy as you like but stay legal. It's Florida people so yes, shorts are fine :)

We don't have a lot of rules, but the ones we do have are set in stone and will enforced immediately!

are 18 cabins, each with it's own porch, and 18 regular rooms....No smoking
allowed in any of the rooms or cabins. All rooms and cabins are very neat
and clean.!
Cabins
are $60.00 and rooms are $45.00......Book your rooms now before they
sell out. Just tell the front desk you are attending the party on June 27th.
Check in to your room or cabin starting at 11:00 a.m. and get some sun all day, swim in the heated pool, meet new friends, make promises for the evening :)

dance starts at 8:00 p.m. till 12:00 a.m. in the pizza place.
The dance room is not huge and will have limited seating but it
will be our club only in attendance. Live DJ with the music you
like and not too loud so you can still talk and get acquainted.
Some outdoor seating also for smokers.. Check in for the
party at the pizza place at 8:00. Or...Kimi will find you during the day.
Beer
and wine liquor license in the pizza place, don't bring in any drinks
of your own at the dance. Please help by buying beer, wine, and a
sandwich or pizza to make the party profitable for the pizza guy.
We want to go back again. He has some of the best Italian

10:30 p.m. the hospitality room will open. The dance will
continue until almost everyone has gone to the cabins to continue the
party.
B.Y.O.B. to the hospitality rooms or for your own cabins or
rented rooms. Most rooms and all cabins have a refrigerator.

Coffee and donuts in the morning before you check out by 11:00 a.m.

All rooms including 16 King Suites with sofa bed, stove, full sized fridge, micro wave etc. $80.99 + tax. Five double queen bed rooms and one single sized room also available and all the same prices. Regular "In Season" prices for these rooms are $149.00 to $169.00 + tax. NOTICE: All top floor rooms are "non smoking." A special wing will also be available for FSP members on the floor below at the same prices including suites for smoking rooms. Get booked now to secure your favorite rooms. All rooms are adjoining capable.
The top, or 5th floor will be completely PRIVATE for FSP and anyone entering that floor must have already signed a "Privacy Agreement." We will have a Hospitality Suite on the top floor open at 10:00 p.m. during the party until ?. Rent your own room and leave your door open if you would like to accept visitors roaming the halls :) Maybe you could offer a special snack or drink to entice them in :) This will only be available on the top floor, (other floors won't be as private).
DJ R.I.P. Tide to play your favorite dance music downstairs in the breakfast room. It will be a private party but you must wear a cover up or something if you are walking anywhere outside of this room. There could be vanilla guests in the hotel. Smoking allowed outside by the heated pool and swimming will be available for a while during the party. Bring your bottles, mixers, beer, wine to the dance and we'll have a bar for you to mix and free ice, a fridge to keep your beer cold. We'll also have a light finger food buffet. Dance starts at 8:00 until 12:00 p.m. Parking area very private and cannot be seen from the street.

The top, or 5th floor will be completely PRIVATE for FSP and anyone entering that floor must have already signed a "Privacy Agreement." We will have a Hospitality Suite on the top floor open at 10:00 p.m. during the party until ?. Rent your own room and leave your door open if you would like to accept visitors roaming the halls :) Maybe you could offer a special snack or drink to entice them in :) This will only be available on the top floor, (other floors won't be as private).
DJ R.I.P. Tide to play your favorite dance music downstairs in the breakfast room. It will be a private party but you must wear a cover up or something if you are walking anywhere outside of this room. There could be vanilla guests in the hotel. Smoking allowed outside by the heated pool and swimming will be available for a while during the party. Bring your bottles, mixers, beer, wine to the dance and we'll have a bar for you to mix and free ice, a fridge to keep your beer cold. We'll also have a light finger food buffet. Dance starts at 8:00 until 12:00 p.m. Parking area very private and cannot be seen from the street.

May 1st. Get your campsite picked out if you like. Spend the day in the sun at the pool or relaxing in the shade in your camp site. NOTICE: You must be nude during the day if you are at the pool or in the pavilion. It's clothing optional anywhere else on the grounds. This party is B.Y.O.B. and bring your own food and water as well as mixers and ice. You are welcome to bring your grills. Electric will be supplied where possible. 30 amp service is $5.00 and 50 amp service is $7.00 supplied by extension cords or receptacle if you are in a regular camper spot. NOTICE: No generators please! They are too noisy and spoil the mood at night :) No swinging play allowed except in private until our dance and private party starts at 7:00 p.m. The resort will be shut down for regular patrons at 6:00 p.m. Dance starts at 7:00 p.m. with live DJ RIP Tide so wear your sexy flower child outfits and hippie headbands, flowers in your hair. Wear as much or as little as you like :) Prizes to be given for best outfits. Those times were also a special attitude and we hope we can recapture a little of those laid back times.....LOL Bring a nice snack to share during the party. You have all brought really nice snacks to our previous parties so keep up the good work . Party lasts all night and check out time is 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning on May 2nd. If you want to stay longer you can pay for an extra day's ground fees. |
